My brand new apple watch SE won't open the control center unless I ask siri to do so. I've tried the power off reboot twice and that does not work. Any other suggestions? I use the control center a LOT normally (this is my second watch).

OS 9 swipe up the face
OS10 single short press of long side button (below the crown)
Brand new. OS 10. It. Does. Not. Work.
Plenty of SE arrive with OS9
Have. Less. attitude
