Check iPhone coverage

when I checked iPhone 15 coverage using its serial number on apple support app it shows the phone is already activated, instead of the app by using same serial I tried to check on apple website surprisingly it says the phone is not activated yet. Which one should I trust

The serial numnber mentioned on the box is FWP9K4X79Q and upon entering this serial number Apple is giving me this statement, "Activate Your Device We’re unable to display coverage details because your device hasn’t been registered. Is an active iPhone 16 Pro Serial number indicative of previous use? I have purchased an iphone 16 pro it’s still sealed and have not been opened yet i searched the serial number and it says the activation status is active is that mean it has been used before?? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Active or not Active ?! Hello! I've bought an iphone 14 pro and iphone 14 pro max recently and there is a problem with the promax for tis coverage! these tow iphones are still packed and not opened yet but when i go to this link: Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support and enter the serial number of my iphone 14 promax it says activate your phone which means it is not activated yet , but when i recheck it with IMEI it says coverage has been started and 350 days left ! I'm confused and don't know that is it active or not!! can somone please help me with it ? Thank you
