iphone screen lights up while in standby

My iphone 15 Pro, when in standby mode (horizontal orientation, attached to charger, locked screen, darkened room), periodically and sporadically will come on with full brightness showing the wallpaper screen, and then revert to the standby screen (red clock numbers). As this happens in the middle of the night, it can be disturbing. I can't seem to find why it is periodically coming on.

iphone when in standby does not turn off in a dark room I have a new iPhone 17 Pro and iOS 26. I have StandBy turned on and set to turn off automatically when the phone is not in use and the room is dark. I have Night Mode and Motion to Wake turned on. However, the phone display turns on and does not turn off in the darkened room. Any ideas on what other option is preventing this? Thanks

Standby mode going to lock screen then back again iOS 17.2.1, iPhone 15 Pro, using Standby with an Anker 3 in 1 Magsafe cube. Everything works as it should, until the middle of the night, when all of a sudden the display will light up full blast with my lock screen for a second, and then go back to the dim Standby clock/calendar display. I think it's happening when the phone is fully charged--it stops charging but somehow also thinks it's no longer connected to the Magsafe cube, but then re-connects (I can hear the vibration signifying that it's charging again). Very annoying since it's bright enough to wake me up. This can happen several times during the night. Anyone else seeing this? Got to be a bug in Standby mode, I would think.
