... but you can use any USB-C power adapter to charge your Mac. Larger capacity ones won't charge it any faster, lower capacity adapters may lack sufficient power, but neither one will cause any harm.

As About Apple USB power adapters - Apple Support explains,

"If your Mac uses USB-C to charge, you can charge your Mac laptop with any USB-C power adapter or display."
