Check the Sync options for each iPod. Each one has to be checked separately.

Once the iPod is seen iTunes, tap the iPod icon at the top of the window:

  • this displays the Device/Settings/Summary pane:

  • on the Summary pane;
    • the Manually Manage music and videos should not be ticked
    • make a note of whether the Sync only ticked songs and videos is ticked (checked). It probably is and that's okay. You may need to know this in the Entire music library* step that comes up next (see below)

  • switch to the Device/Settings/Music pane (1.):

  • the Sync Music button (2.) needs to be ticked (checked)
  • for the next part (3.):
    • if Entire music library is selected, then all your music should be added to your device. If it is not, go back to your main iTunes library and see whether the individual songs are ticked. *If the songs are not ticked, but the option mentioned above is (sync only ticked songs and videos), that will be why nothing has been added to your devices. Post back for further advice
    • if Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres is selected, then only what has been additionally selected in the extra sections (4.) will, be added toy your devices. Each device will be separately configured

A sync that finishes quickly suggest that there is nothing to be synchronised. That may be because the iPod is synchronised or, more likely, that the Sync options are not set for that iPod.

All I can suggest is that you re-start your computer, re-start iTunes (just in case either of these steps fixes an unknown issue) and then re-check the Sync settings for each device.
