My cricket ringtone disappeared. I want it back. Can Apple add it back

Crickets ringtone is never disappeared.
Go to -> Settings -> Sound & Haptics - > Ringtone -> scroll to and tap on Classic - > Crickets.
I see I did say ring tone but I meant text tone. My bad. But the issue is the same. And I don’t care if Apple is” well aware “. They need to hear from us anyway bc if they don’t they will assume we are okay with this omission.
I still have hearing issues. The higher frequency range is best for me. Natural sounds are soothing so th crickets were perfect for me.
Glad to be useful. I did send a product feedback to Apple. It feels like screaming into a void. But if they got a lot of feedback from this it can’t hurt. If we don’t say anything then our crickets will never be restored. This way they might be restored.
And a train whistle in the distance is soothing to me so it makes the notification not stressful.
I wish Apple had asked how many elderly users need cricket and duck, which is also gone, because they are the only two loud enough for us to easily hear. I am so disappointed and still haven’t found a sufficient substitute. There are sites with a free cricket tone, but I am afraid to try them
Yes, I was just with my friend and we were trying to get the cricket sound on my phone. And then she realized when she change the sound for her text, the cricket one went away, and there was no way to get it back. We love our crickets and want them back in our text tones please.
I’ve had cricket as my text tone for years. I (stupidly) was trying a different tone and decided to go back to cricket. IT IS GONE!!! My whole family knows it is my iPhone that’s chirping when we are together so they don’t check their phones. Come on Apple, why would you do that? Please give it back!
Why does Apple continue to change things for no apparent reason? Why get rid of the crickets message alert? Little things like this change is what drives people crazy! Are crickets now endangered by the use of the sound? Was this move done to appease the Green movement? Wouldn’t surprise me! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!
I have done that but it is not there. When IOS updated the last time it disappeared. Clicked on classic and no cricket. Has this happened to anyone else
No it is NOT on my list of classic ringtones. It was and now it’s gone. I want it back bc it was long and loud.

Duck is also gone for assigning to a text tone.
I am on iOS 17.2 on my iPhone and ‘ Crickets’ is definitely there for ringtone.
Unfortunately not on my devises. Not for receiving text messages. I liked it because it was loud and I need to know when I get texts. Nothing seems to be as loud.
