MacBook Pro shows "battery not charging" for a few seconds and then starts charging
Hello, I have a brand new MacBook Pro 14" with M3 chip, MacOS is updated to the latest version (14.1.2). It's my first Mac so I'm new to this kind of product.
I've noticed a weird behavior and I was wondering if it's normal or not. When I plug the charger in (I'm using the original 70W MagSafe charger that came in the box) I see the battery icon with a plug inside and if I click on it it says, power source: charger and battery not charging. After a few seconds (15 or 30) the icon changes to the classic one with the lightning inside and the battery starts charging normally. The optimized charging feature is active but I don't think it's causing this behavior because when I plug my pc it's usually at 40% battery and I've been using this MacBook just for a couple of days so I doubt that optimized charing has already kicked in (in fact it charges to 100%).
To be honest this doesn't cause issues because the MacBook starts charging after just a few seconds and then it keeps charging normally but I was just wondering if this is normal.
Thank you in advance for your help.
