My IMac Mid-2011 uses Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra). There is no way to upgrade to newer versions of OS and, therefore, I can't use my Mac to do taxes and many other things. This is a blatant case of planned obsolescense. Apple is forcing me to buy a new computer, when mine still works perfectly well after I increased RAM to 16 GB some time ago. This is really disgusting.

Mostly you just need a more modern Browser than Safari on Catalina, Mojave, or High Sierra like Firefox or Brave.

That's odd, I'm using that exact same model Mac to post this reply. It works fine.
If Apple planned to make it obsolete, clearly they have some work to do.
