So for my boyfriend his location isn’t showing up in the contacts, but all my other friends I can see , I’ve tried all the steps and none are working

Thank you !! I actually surprisingly took his Email off and his location popped right back up
Possibly they have stopped sharing their location with you. See the pic below, which may explain their action
You may again send a request to them to start sharing their location with you.
