Do I keep my old SIM card for future use now that I have an eSIM?

When transitioning to an eSIM within the same carrier and retaining your existing phone number, the conventional physical SIM card becomes inactive and cannot be reused thereafter. The shift to an eSIM renders the traditional SIM card obsolete for future use, as the eSIM technology takes precedence and essentially replaces the physical card within the network infrastructure.
