Songs automatically downloading to library on apple music

Whenever I add a song to one of my playlists in Apple Music, they automatically download in the library as well. The ‘add playlist songs in library’ is turned off, however every time I add a song to a playlist, it turns itself on automatically. I have the newest update and I tried turning off my phone and restarting it multiple times, but nothing is working.

Can’t add songs to my library on iOS So if I am listening to a new song, often while driving, I’ll hit the + icon to add it to my library. It works, and then a few seconds later it comes back, not adding to my library. This happens on a bunch of songs, but not all songs. The ones I try to add I always cannot add, and some I can add with no problem. What is going on? I’d like to get this fixed if possible!

songs adding to library when i just want to add to my playlist (Apple music) why do when i add a song to one of my playlists on apple music it adds to my library as-well on ios 17. It never used to do this only since i’ve updated my phone. Because if i wanted to add a song to my library i would’ve clicked add to library, I just want the song on my playlist. And this is bothering me a lot because when i add songs and they get added to library i have to scroll all the way down in recently added to get to my playlists.
