MacBook Pro shows up as a Desktop/Display in Handoff and Airplay

This isn't a big issue, but it is weird. I recently got a new MacBook Pro, M3 Pro model, and I've noticed that when using airplay and handoff on my iPad and iPhone, the glyph for the device is a monitor or display, rather than a laptop. Has anyone else noticed this? There's nothing in System Information that explains why my devices could confuse my MBP for an iMac. I've included images of what I'm seeing, in the image with the red circle, that's what my MacBook shows up as on Airplay:

I've also noticed that when Airdropping to my MacBook, there is no image of the device, I'll include an image of that as well.
