Apple Maps-no speed cameras

After having updated to 17.2.1 and restarting iPhone I now seem to have the cameras back. I cannot see them when 'browsing' a route but during actual navigation they appear with a verbal warning

I’ve temporarily switched to Waze. It’s much better than I thought it would be and shows speed cameras perfectly.

It looks like that camera's mainly on the Motorways and A roads in the UK are not picked up. Internal roads seems to be fine. I reported this issue as well but there has been no response.

I have noticed this feature has gone about a month ago, i have raised it with apple support tea, but nothing has been done about it!

Usually maps also informs you about accidents, it doesn't anymore. i have started using google maps they don't have the feature too :/

I noticed the same thing. I used to use Apple maps all the time as my nav of choice because it had great mapping algorithms, but noticed a distinct lack of camera's a couple of weeks back. I use motorways a lot, so need to know where the cameras are. I can't do with Google maps, their plotting is all over the place, so I moved onto Waze. If Apple sort it, I may move back, but I do like how Waze warns about stationary vehicles, potholes as well as traffic and cameras. You never know what's out there until you start looking around I guess.

Be wary. The Google map routing can be very erratic. I had an incident up in Scotland where Google mapping took me on a 20 mile diversion on bootlace country lanes, when all I needed to do was a turnaround on the B road I was on and go back less than half a mile. I actually came back up the same road. That was my last straw with Google maps. It'd also taken me through Ipswich centre when the Orwell bridge was closed on the A14. My colleague in another car using Apple maps was given a far better route and got to the office an hour in front of me despite being behind me.

Lost the "50mile an hour speed camera ahead , please watch your speed" announcement this morning , just announced " speed camera ahead " .

Dear Apple boffins, can we please have this really useful feature back ASAP ?

I tried today and seems like marker and voice notifications are back. I have tried only on one location which I used as my test site. Will share more data soon. Look forward to hear from others if they have seen any difference.

Same here, needs sorting asap can’t be risking these points!

I used this feature all the time and it’s reeeeally annoying it’s now gone.

It seems to show some of them, but it is definitely much worse. I'm in danger of switching back to Google, although generally I prefer the Apple interface.

Where have the speed cameras gone ?? I thought it was only me.
