Can an iPhone 15 Pro Max be used in Venezuela?

Hi - This largely depends on the region of your iPhone and eSIM support in Venezuela.

iPhone 15s that were sold in the US will not have a physical SIM card tray. This means that you will have to use an eSIM in order to access functionalities that require it.

If you have a non-US iPhone, it will always contain a SIM tray. As long as the phone is unlocked, it can utilize a nano-SIM in Venezuela.

As far as my information goes, Airalo is the only service I know providing eSIMs for use in Venezuela.

If you purchase an IPhone 15 Pro Max in the US, then that iPhone will not have a SIM card tray and will only have eSIM capability. The iPhone will work in Venezuela, however, you must find a cellular service provider, in Venezuela, that provides service with the use of an eSIM. I recommend that you get that information from your cousin first before you purchase the iPhone.
