First, you may want to check what the payments were for ... eg: maybe a family member initiated them?

How to see what you were charged for If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support

and

View your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store, and other Apple media services - Apple Support

If you are charged for a subscription that you do not want, it would need to be cancelled so you are not charged monthly: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

After the above you may (or may not) know where the charges originated ?

If you have family, you may want to use Screen Time and "Ask to Buy" to help with purchases.

Set up parental controls with Family Sharing on iPhone - Apple Support
