Mouse scrolling in wrong direction

I am a new MacBook user after years of using Windows laptops .I have purchased a bluetooth mouse (not Apple) but the scroll wheel is working in the opposite direction. I have looked in the settings and can't find any option to reverse the scroll settings.

Hopefully someone can help me with this

You'll want to go to settings > mouse And then turn off natural scrolling.

thus should fix it
