After upgrading to Monterey OS on my 2015 MacBook Pro, the fan seems to constantly be running. How do i correct that?

Run the Apple Diagnostics to see if any hardware issues are detected.

Try an SMC Reset and a PRAM Reset (hold for three chimes).

To look for possible software issues, run the third party app EtreCheck and post the report here so we can examine it for clues.

Also disconnect all external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.

After an OS upgrade, the system may be still be performing some maintenance duties, and it is possible that some cloud based services are syncing files. Try turning off WiFi or disconnecting the Ethernet cable if connected.
