Please help me with resetting AirTag. Two brand new batteries and still does not connect. Still shows low battery

Check if the CR2032 batteries you're using have a bitterant coating,
Apple themselves in their battery replacement guide say that "Some CR2032 batteries with bitterant coatings might not work with AirTag or other battery-powered products."

Duracell and I believe Energizer as well use a bitterant coating on the CR2032, and I had problems with them initially.
Once I rubbed some hand sanitizer on the battery for a minute or two using some pressure and wiped with a soft clean cloth, I had full power.
Worth a try with the battery that you are using now if you have not already done this.
As far as I can tell battery does not have bitterant coating. There isn’t anything mentioned on packaging. Is there a specific brand I should use to assure the coating is not present?
Still does not work even with washing battery
I put in a new battery on my AirTag and it still will not locate. I have tried two different new batteries. The indicator still reads low. How do I reset the AirTag?
