Right-shift key not working correctly - centers the window instead of acting as 'shift'

Mac mini M2 - macOS Sonoma

When I press the right-shift key, the window I am working centers in my screen, other open apps in the background disappear. When hitting the right-shift key again brings the window I was working in to the font, and the background windows show again. I just wan't to use that key as a shift key nothing else. Already changed settings in Mission Control and other key-combinations, nothing works.

Any idea's to solve this?

. What does "-" mean? And what does "Keyboard Shortcut" actually mean? Not to mention "Mouse Shortcut". I take it that "^" actually means "up arrow", is that right?

Keyboard shortcut typically means a key combination that can be used instead of the mouse to click on a menu item or setting. ^ means the Control key (it is normally printed on that key).
