Right-shift key not working correctly - centers the window instead of acting as 'shift'

Last item in the list you mentioned.... System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Mission Control > Shortcuts

They should group all these key settings !

Well to this fairly new user, it's a very confusing page. What does "-" mean? And what does "Keyboard Shortcut" actually mean? Not to mention "Mouse Shortcut". I take it that "^" actually means "up arrow", is that right?

Keyboard shortcut typically means a key combination that can be used instead of the mouse to click on a menu item or setting. ^ means the Control key (it is normally printed on that key).

OK, thanks for that, it does clarify things a little. I'm inclined to set the short cuts off to avoid unforseen things happening when the proverbial cats walks over the keyboard. (I take it that the "-" symbol signifies "not set"?)

Agreed! It is really a mess when you have to compile a list like that to cover everything...
