Debit card payments via my Watch 4 recently stopped working on NYC transit (OMNY).
"Card not accepted" 'Card not recognized"
Never had a problem before & the same debit card continues to work fine using my iPhone.
Watch payments are successful elsewhere.
I reset the Watch, removed & re-activated the debit card. Still not working.
Parallel query sent to NYC OMNY
Problem solved after speaking with OMNY rep.
Payment is accepted via Watch or Phone. Not both concurrently for reduced fare class.
A few weeks back I used my phone at the turnstile. That shut down my watch payment access.
With the help of the service rep, access restored.
