location detection issues HomeKit

hi can anyone help me? Suddenly HomeKit no longer notices that I am not at home, so automations such as alarm on and lights off no longer work. Does anyone know what could be causing it?

My partner who’s added to the home has the same issues.

I’ve tried everything I could think of but nothing helps.

I’ve a Apple TV 4K (newest model), a iPhone 11 and iPhone 14.

it started since November 24th and for so far that we can remember we didn’t change anything in our settings

Wrong location in homekit I have three homes configurated in homekit and my iPhone fails to update to the home of my current location. My homes are automated and controlled with Siri so this is fairly annoying. On my iPad on the other hand, things work just fine. I am using Apple TV latest gen as hub. Have tried all the usual tricks, updating, restarting, resetting with no success. All tips and tricks would be appreciated

HomeKit geofencing not working since updating to ios16.x HomeKit geofencing worked perfectly under ios15 - since updating I have to be literally beside the Apple TV before any automations acknowledge I am home. My family has iPhone and all iPhones update to 16.x experience this issue. My sons iPhone (still on 15.x) still works perfectly from 150m from the house. 16.1 has still not fixed this - fix this Apple - HomeKit is useless for location since updating! Yours in frustration!

Homekit accessories constantly going offline? I have had these homekit accessories for about a year with little to no issues, stable, occasional drops but nothing that couldn’t be explained away. Recently, my entire home, each non-apple accessory cannot and will not stay “online”. Nothing has changed in the network, all devices have power and are connected to the wireless network and are fully reachable through a ping. Accessories that have a companion app, such as myQ, work perfectly fine in their app, but homekit refuses to believe the accessory is connected. I have recycled power, to each accessory and the primary (Apple TV 4K), and secondary hub (Apple TV 4K). Firmware is up to date from what I can tell. HSV devices I am completely clueless about because there’s no companion app, so troubleshooting is nearly impossible. I assume my only option is to completely reset every accessory in my house? I’m not sure what’s going on, I really feel like i’ve tried everything. And apparently there is no actual support forum for Homekit? so i’m posting this in the wrong place… Is homekit end of life? i feel like there is no support forums and how little development is being put into homekit it seems very end of life, should i be looking for a new home solution? probably.
