Deleting info on someone else’s phone without physically having it

My Roomate and I both have iPhones. I texted her today and she said when she received the message that it said it was from unknown. She says that all of my messages to her along with my contact info had been deleted and accused me of doing it ( like she says her sister did to her) even though I never physically had possession of her phone AND all my messages and her contact are still in my phone. She is insistent that somehow I did this and in no way could there be another explanation. I think she’s crazy. Is this even possible to do???

If you had two devices synchronized through iCloud, using the same Apple ID, then it would be possible to affect one device by making changes on the other. E.g.,

  • Deleting a photo on one device would delete it from all of the other devices, and from iCloud
  • Updating contacts on one device would affect contacts on the other

But that presumes that two people were sharing an Apple ID (a practice Apple recommends against).
