Beats Flex light alternates red & white 3 times begins blinking white, turns off and starts all over

My Beats Flex was working fine until about an hour ago. Now the red and white lights alternate 3 times before the white light blinks 15 times then goes dark. Then it turns back on and does it all again. I have checked the firmware is up to date, forgot the device on my phone, then tried resetting. Nothing stops this cycle from continuing and I cannot turn them off. While the white light blinks it will connect to my phone but then immediately disconnects when the cycle restarts. Please help.
