iCloud drive + (Desktop and Docs) with multiple Macs ?

I have two Macs ( air, min) both running the latest OS 14.1.2 and both with the same login id, same wifi.

I have configured iCloud Drive + Desktop and Docs on both.

I can see iCloud Drive, Documents, Desktop in the Finder on both the Macs

I want to keep the "Desktop and Docs" for each Mac separate in the iCloud Drive.

I have tried several ideas but none seem to work.

Does anyone have any good screen shots, information on how this can be setup?

Correct. Each Mac will sync its desktop. On the other Mac you'll see both (one will be named as the other Mac).

Your desktop and documents will retain the system name in iCloud and are not duplicated across devices but are accessible on every device on which you sync.

Hi I understand this but what happens if I have two Mac's that are setup to use iCloud Dir + Desktop and Dir?

In iCloud Drive will I see TWO Desktop's and Documents one for each Mac?
