emergency alert just to another phone

I have an iPhone 14. My husband has an se (the newer one). He doesn’t hear very well. If I really need him, is there a way to send a loud alert to him but not emergency services?

Emergency Alert can't be silenced Emergency Alert on 10/4 set off an alert on my dad's iPad that can't be shut up. His iPad is not connected to cell service only WiFi. about every 2 minutes the alert will come on for about 10 seconds and then stops until next time 2 minutes later. I cannot find a way to turn it off. there is no visual notification on the screen when this happens. Unfortunately he lives in another state so I direct him over the phone. His iPad also does not respond to a shutdown command. If anyone has and ideas on this problem I would welcome it.

Test alert off but still went off My iPhone 11 has test alerts turned off in settings, yet when Florida did a test at 4:45am EDT my phone screamed it out loud. My dads iPhone did not. My hubbys samsung did not. Why did mine audibly alarm when test alert notification is OFF?

Go to settings and sounds and haptics on his phone and you can change how loud alerts are. If change with buttons is on, alert volume can change with the volume buttons. You can also find a third party app or a ringtone in the tone store (select ringtone or any others in sounds and haptics) that is louder.
