Apple Music Songs and Playlists Duplicated after updating to MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2 (23B92)

I updated to MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2 (23B92) last night, and this morning Apple Music is showing all of my playlists and most of my songs were duplicated. The duplicate playlists appear to be empty, but I when I deleted an empty duplicate, it also deleted my original playlist.

The duplicate playlists and songs do not appear on my other devices.

What do I need to do?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Do you have a subscription to Apple Music, or just the app? If you have a subscription it may help to turn Sync Library off, and then back on again to resolve any odd issues with cloud content.

Or see Empty/corrupt iTunes/Music library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community. If a Previous Library exists, or you have a backup in Time Machine, I would restore the state of the library to what it was before the upgrade. You might also try holding down option+cmd when launching Music which can sometimes resolve odd issues in the library.
