Hi Jazzy1958. To connect any Apple Watch to your new iPhone 15, the watch must be able to update to Watch OS 10 or later. Unfortunately, your Apple Watch 3 is not capable of updating that high. It can only update to OS 8. It's hardware is not capable of going any higher.
