Intermittent black screen on Macbook Pro 15-inch, 2019

I have a Macbook Pro 15" 2019 running MacOS 13.4.1 (c)


After a recent update, my Macbook has been flickering or having intermittent black screen every few minutes of active use. It has happened thrice while writing this post too.

Has anyone else experienced this issue in the past? It's a laptop from work and my organization controls all the OS updates.

Any help is appreciated.

Sorry but as the Computer is Controlled by your Organization and also controls all OS updates.


It appears the computer is also enrolled in a Mobile Digital Management service like Jamf or some other MDM Service.


The flickering issue maybe a Software Issue related to MacOS 13.4.1 (c) which is some what outdated or it could be a Hardware Issue


In either case, the machine is better attended to by the Organizations IT Department


If they deem the issue is Ventura MacOS 13.4.1 (c) - then perhaps they will issue a Controlled Update to current Ventura 13.6.1.


Further, if they determine the issue is Hardware - that could have the computer Serviced


Any help is appreciated.
