Migration Complete: PC to MAC Air A2941

I completed the migration without issue and received the "A restart is required to finalize your migrated settings. Your migrated data is ready to use following the restart" message. I clicked restart now and let it sit going on 2 hours now only because I've been busy but I'm certain at this point I need to power down. Is this a common issue in migration of data? This is my first MAC and I want to love it but hate this pause happening right off the bat. Systems background here so I do understand all things can and will happen as they do but also holding on to the high hope that MAC systems will impress me after this hiccup...

Thank you!

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 13.4

After migration the restart should happen pretty quickly but I have seen this happen a time or two (I used to do Mac tech work). You should be able to safely power down the computer and restart without any ill effects. Migration assistant has transferred all appropriate files and created your account.
