Can't download episodes in the apple tv app. Please advise

No download button appears next to episode

It can be done on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Download and stream shows, movies, and events from Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass, and Apple TV channels - Apple Support

You can't download content from the Apple TV app on Apple TV, smart TVs, streaming devices, and on tv.apple.com. Instead, you can only stream content on these devices.

There are limits for downloads and they are also detailed in that support article.
