My tv stopped working as a monitor after i changed the resolution on my mac studio.

Hello, i used a tv called Thomson 32hu3253c when i started my mac studio. its a cheaper and older TV so the resolution wasnt the best, but i could see good enough. After installing everything i went into the settings to try n change up and see if i could get any better picture. But after changing between a few settings the screen turned black and wouldnt get any signal anymore. Now i can get it to connect somehow, but first my tv says HDMI audio not supported, but then i says that just everything is not supported. I can use my mac with a newer monitor, so it seems like everything is OK, im just curious what happened and if i can use my TV as a monitor somehow?

ive tried to change into different resolutions on the other monitor and then changing it over to TV, but same issue again and again. ive restarted both the TV and the mac several times

See if you can Safe Boot & reset the resolution...

Start with this of M1 or M2 Mac...

On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Shut Down.

Wait for your Mac to shut down completely. A Mac is completely shut down when the screen is black and any lights (including in the Touch Bar) are off.

Press and hold the power button on your Mac until “Loading startup options” appears.

Select a volume.

Press and hold the Shift key, then click Continue in Safe Mode.

The computer restarts automatically. When the login window appears, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.

Set Resolution.

Restart normally.
