Usually a free trial period migrates into a paid subscription period automatically. With some software or vendors the paid subscription starts immediately. As Zoom is not an Apple product you will need to contact the developers of Zoom for an answer.
The support page to contact Zoom is https://www.zoom.com/en/contact/ but when I had a poke around there some of the links were broken.
You might have inadvertently created a problem by signing up for a paid version before ending/canceling the free trial. Be careful to cancel the current one with plenty of time to spare before the paid version kicks in.
