Airpod Max Pro Connected to Bluetooth sound still comes from iPhone resettled headphones and updates phone still doing the same things. I factory reset it updated my iPhone to the latest version still connects to Bluetooth and noise only coming from iPhone

When playing music in an app like Spotify or Apple Music: press the airplay icon and make sure that the output there is also set to your AirPods to see if the issue is persisting
