iPad lost ability to choose best frame from photo taken in live mode since IOS17 upgrade.

I have an iPad and iPhone 15 both running iOS 17.1.2, when taking photos in live mode on either device, the “live” option of choosing the best frame is not available when editing the photos on the iPad but is for the same photo on the iPhone. When using iOS 16 on the iPad all was ok. I’ve been doing this for years to choose the best frame, it appears the live edit function has disappeared from the iPad photo edit but is still on the iPhone, and the photo has the live details.
