How to +1 to a cell in Numbers with a button?

I’m creating a simple sheet to track my friends’ and my dice rolls for our D&D campaigns to see if my friend really does roll lower than everyone else. Is it possible to create a button (I have something similar in a macro on a G Sheets sheet) so that I can select a cell, push the button, and it will just increase the digit in that cell 1?

I know it isn’t hard to just retype the new number each time, but it’d be great if I could automate it a bit.

Cheers~

If the GUI of a slider is too small to be practical for this, you could consider searching for 'counter' on the Mac App Store or App Store and using one of the many apps designed for that purpose.

In Numbers, unlike in some other spreadsheet apps, you can't add a 'button' attached to script.
