I bought an iWatch Series 9 and cannot seem to be able to pair it to my iphone 8. Can you assist?

Is the iphone 8 compatible with the iwatch series 9?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to pair the series 9 to an iPhone 8. The reason being that iPhone 8 is not able to update to iOS 17, which is required for pairing with the series 9.
