Adding an application to Dock

I have a new iMac. I want to have the Calculator on the Dock, but I can’t see how to do that. I’m on Sonoma 14.1.2.

MacBook Pro (M3 Pro, 2023)

Just tested it for you: Go to the launchpad and drag the calculator down to the dock. Works for me here on my iMac running the same Sonoma version

…and, you could just drag its icon from the Applications folder into the Dock.

Just to add, you could also open Calculator, then control click on its icon in the Dock and choose "Keep in Dock" from "Options ".

Thanks. That worked this time. I thought I'd already tried that, and it didn't work the first time.
