Apple ID 2FA code not being sent to trusted Mac

I hope this message finds you well,

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have been experiencing with my Apple ID verification process. Over the past few days, I have attempted to log in to my Apple ID from my phone and it sends a code to my Mac, but I have not been receiving the verification code even if i do it, it just goes away in a second. This is necessary to complete the login process. Without this i cant login to my iPhone.
