Every time I use Zoom on my brand new MacBook Air M2 16GB Sonoma the video freezes and lags. The internet connection is very fast and I have plenty of memory and no other apps open. I can Zoom on my old computer just fine but this one is unusable. Please advise!
Also, make sure you are using the Apple Silicon native version of the app. Their website has downloads for both Intel Macs and Apple Silicon.

I have this same issue, and I have the M2 clip version of Zoom. Zoom freezes except for my Continuity Camera shot. It requires a reboot of the Mac. Just relaunching Zoom causes a "connection failed".

I uninstalled Zoom and reinstalled the right one for the silicon. That helped temporarily, but I am now having the problem again. Something about this version of the Macbook Air seems to slow down the Zoom. I have no problem on my other devices with the same internet speed.
I’m having this issue as well, Zoom, Teams, Hangouts. It looks fine on my end, all my colleagues describe my video as blocky or choppy.
