Cannot get rid of "Update Apple ID Settings" message on my iphone

I updated my Iphone SE to the latest version ios 17.1.2 and now I can't get rid of the "Update Apple ID Settings" message under Settings. I connect to Wifi and the iphone gets stuck connecting to my Apple account.
