Apple iOs, MacOS Calculater App is putting humans at risk of data loss and malware

Hey people,

What if I told you, like millions of people worldwide proably have also thought, that Apple puts millions if not billions of people at risk of data loss or malware.

By not making the calulater app functional (or better e.g. user friendly enough), people using iOS or MacOs or PadOS HAVE TO download third party apps containing weird links and ads, just so that they can do their junior highschool homework or anything similar, that requires more than just the addition of 2 numbers.

Seriously, yes, it offers more mathematical functions like the square function or adding brackets, BUT WHY DOES IT NOT SHOW IT IF I USE IT?!??!?!?! This is pure nonsense!!!

Why doesn't it show a history? Am I supposed to memorize every little function I type in? Why do I have a display then, if I have to memorize? Any math operation requiring more tan ONE SIMPLE LITTLE ADDITION +, substraction -, division or multiplication : x is straight up impossible.

So, why? And can Apple please change this, for the love of god. Does anybody have any recommendation? Thanks people, peace.

The Apple calculator app that looks like this on an iPhone?

And looks like this in landscape?

If you want a better calculator and without ads and the rest, pcalc works fine. Yes, it costs actual money.

If you choose apps based solely on cost, there will be ads included with many low-priced and free options.

For a different approach to this topic, have a look at WolframAlpha. If you’re not already aware.
