Quick time player

Hi there,

i would like to get help solving my problem. I have an old Mac computer, the high sierra is running on it. I have been using the quick time player app for 3 months. I couldn't save the videos, because when I tried, I got an error message all the time when I tried to download/save the video. The message was "operation couldn't be completed" . So, I have not saved the videos, but I am still using the quick time player app until now. Finally I succeeded in saving 49 videos, my hard drive is full, and the quick time player freezes. I don't want to lose those videos, because they are very important. I think, if I quit or I do a force quit from the app before I restart the system i will lose them all. I would like to get help in this matter. What I need to do and how can I saved those videos from the quick time player?

Thank you very much for your help!

Regards,

Luca

Offload categories of documents that have many big files, to an external drive, until you have sufficient free space (>10%) on the boot drive. That includes any video that you are not currently working on (e.g. editing).

Finally I succeeded in saving 49 videos

If they are saved to disk, then you can restart the system without losing anything. Only unsaved documents might get lost.

Are these screen recordings or something?
