Last Played is not updating in iTunes when a song is played on Apple Music

When I listen to a song in my library from Apple Music, the "Last Played" time stamp does not update in iTunes for Windows 11 (version 12.13.0.9). It does not update even when I manually sync my iCloud music library. It was syncing up until 12/1/23, which could have been the date I updated to IOS 17.1.2 (but I can't be positive)

The "Last Played" time stamp does update when I play the song on iTunes, but I rarely listen via iTunes

Hello,

I listen to more than 100 songs every day - in iTunes the last played song is from 25.10.2023. The date goes hand in hand with the installation of an IOS update. It's very annoying that Apple has recently been increasingly imposing banana software on its customers; the software matures with the customer - Steve Jobs would sack all those responsible for this poor quality on the spot.
