Macbook audio volume changes on its own - FIXED
I have had quite issues with the audio level changes on its own, so share the cause for it (at least majority of the problems) with folks here.
Some applications make arbitrary changes to Macbook audio volume that affect other software operations too. Two major ones that affected me are:
- Zoom (in its Audio Settings, turn off "Automatically adjust microphone volume")
- Youtube (in its Advanced Settings, turn off "Stable volume" - this option is hard to find but find it from phone app (vs. desktop)
