iPhone 13 gets disabled for X minutes while in my pocket. How do I disable this feature?

My iPhone 13 Max repeatedly attempts to unlock while being carried in my pants pocket. When I pull it out to use it, I'm told the phone is "disabled for X" minutes. X varies from 1 to 60 minutes. Extremely frustrating, particularly when needing to make an urgent call. How do I 1) prevent the phone from trying to unlock when rubbing on fabric in my pocket, and/or 2) disable the lockout disable feature all together?

Try disable Raise To Wake and Tap To Wake. Works fine for me.

To disable Rase To Wake:

Settings > Display & Brightness > Turn Off Raise To Wake.

To disable Tap To Wake:

Settings > Accessibility > Touch. Turn Off Tap To Wake.
