Systems Data Explosion

My daughter’s iPhone is out of memory and nearly 80% is system data. We have already tried the “nuclear option” by resetting the phone. It worked initially, but within a week, the system data returned. Any ideas?

I have an iPhone 16 that I bought in October 2024 with 128 GB storage. I have never had issues like this where the storage keeps increasing on its own. iPhone is full and yet system data is zero kb or -1kb I added it all up, and without system data I have used about 42GB, which if correct means that I have 18GB of system data yet it reads as zero kb or -1 kb. Any help??

The system data of my iphone15 is out of control, 80 gb. why? The space of the storage of my iPhone 15 is full and the data system takes up 90gb. The system data of others iPhone 15 takes up between 2 and 4 gb. Somebody can help me to undertand and solve this problem? Thanks a lot

This is happening on two of our family's devices. It's recent and begin after older iphones updated to iOS 17. Nothing is working. The iOS update has ruined the device as far as I can tell. They keep stalling, cycling, and resetting. None of the help articles are working.
