I'm the founder of a cloud-based reservation system specializing in tours and activities.
Recently, we encountered a critical bug in our app, necessitating an urgent fix. However, we faced a significant challenge: it took approximately 12 hours for Apple to review and release the update on the App Store. Our app was essentially unusable during this time, causing considerable inconvenience to our clients.
Given the nature of our business and the importance of maintaining uninterrupted service, I'm reaching out to the community for advice:
Question: Is there a way to expedite the review process for app updates, particularly for urgent bug fixes? Are there options to pay for a faster review and release cycle in such critical situations?
