If Notes is asking for a password, here’s a workaround.

Apple customers have mentioned in previous conversation that their notes all of a sudden was asking for a password to unlock or lock. I came across the same issue. Apparently an Apple representative inform them. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do.

This is incorrect. I figured it out in about two minutes.

Go to your settings, application and go to applications, and find notes. Select notes and then turn the password into device password instead of the password it’s saying you created. It will also say forgot password?

Select this and you can use your Face ID to switch it to the device password which is your Face ID or if you want to manually enter your device password in.

Problem solved.
