You can also turn off any focus mode by going to the Control Center and tapping the mode to deactivate it. There is no need to delete the focus mode in Settings > Focus, which is not an option for modes such as “Do Nit Disturb”.
That means that your phone is currently using the Sleep focus.

You control Focus through Settings>Focus. See the instructions I posted above.
You turn off a particular focus by opening Control Center and tapping on the round picture on the Focus button. Be sure to tap, not press and only on the picture, not the words.
