Weekly steps, no longer showing, is there a way to down-grade to a previous version of the Apple Watch?

Since the last update of the Apple Watch it's no longer possible to see the total number of steps in the Apple Watch. Since Apple seem to have no interest in solving this, is there a way do downgrade to a previous OS version?

Is there anyone who are actually working for Apple who reads the community questions?

Downgrade is not possible.

Apple is not here. Just users like you.

You can tell Apple via

Feedback - Watch - Apple

The more users that send feedback, the more likely it will be seen by a decision maker.

No one here would know why Apple made that change. What I can say is that Apple has never seemed interested in steps as a metric. You'll note that it's not one of the marquis metrics on the Apple Watch. Standing, Moving and Exercise are what Apple focuses on.

You can let Apple know what you'd like to see here:

Meanwhile, there are lots of apps in the App Store that will let you see your steps in myriad ways.

My grand daughter sits in front of the TV wiggling her Fitbit around to notch up the steps.

Apple Watch will analyse the movement in combination with increased heart rate to identify genuine calories and will only register exercise minutes over a certain effort level.

Steps, Shteps.
